Erin and Rob's Wedding

Erin and Rob's wedding was in December at Valley Forge Military Academy and College. Their ceremony was held at Alumni Memorial Chapel and the reception was in the Eisenhower Hall. Erin and Rob chose a vintage glam theme for their wedding, so instead of bouquets, Erin's bridesmaids carried black fans! We did their reception paper; buffet menus, bar menus, table numbers and dessert display signs. All of the paper used their color scheme of black, red and white. We also provided their reception decor. We used our damask table runners, candelabras and candle holders on their tables. Green Meadows Florist provided the personal flowers and small arrangements to finish off the tables. The room was completely transformed after Synergetic Sounds and Lighting put all of the red uplighting and the amber dance floor wash in place! Joe from No Macarena kept the dance floor packed all night long and Valley Creek Productions was on hand to capture everything on film. Their adorable cake was made by Isgro's and was topped with a custom made cake topper! Guests were treated to a signature drink of spiked rum and enjoyed a pie bar complete with chess pie, which was a homage to Erin's southern roots. A big thanks to Joe Capasso Photography for sending us these beautiful images!

Congratulations Erin and Rob!

Teaser Tuesday

Our wedding this past weekend was a great one! Erin and Rob were married on Saturday at the Valley Forge Military Academy. The ceremony was held at Alumni Memorial Chapel of St. Cornelius the Centurion and the reception was held in Eisenhower Hall. Instead of bouquets, Erin's bridesmaids carried fans and they wore black faux fur wraps. The reception had red uplighting and an amber dance floor wash, provided by Synergetic Sounds, and completely transformed the ballroom. The guys from Synergetic really went above and beyond this weekend, a big thank you to them for that! We provided all of the stationery, centerpieces and damask table runners. The cake toppers were made to look like Erin and Rob and their dog, Annie. Instead of just offering cake for dessert, they also had a pie bar which had Chess Pie, a southern favorite that paid homage to Erin's Carolina roots. Another big thank you to Joe Capasso Photography for sending us these teasers! Keep your eyes on the blog for the full blog post!

And Erin was super sweet and sent the nicest thank you note too:

Hi Erin,
I just wanted to reach out and thank you so, so, so much for everything you did this past weekend to ensure our wedding was a success. I'm sure you get a million of these messages from brides and their families over the course of a year, but I truly cannot express to you how much of a blessing it was to find you for our wedding. My schedule was nothing short of insane in 2010 and I had no idea how I was going to pull our wedding together on top of school, work and everything else. Your efforts, creativity and spirit are truly appreciated and will never be forgotten. Our friends and family have gone on and on and ON about how beautiful the venue was, how lovely everything looked, and it absolutely would never have been done without you. Thank you for using your resources for us as well - I know that Synergetic went above and beyond and that your staff all worked their tails off! It was the best day of my life so far and I will always, always, ALWAYS have you to thank for that. I will sing your praises and refer you to anyone within earshot! and you know I don't shut up - ever! :)

Thank you again, a hundred times over. I hope you know how much of a positive impact you make on the lives of brides and their families on such an important occasion and that you continue to be the wonderful person you are and make many more women as happy as you made me.

Thank you, Erin

Jessica and David's Wedding

Jessica and David held their winter wedding at Visitation Church in Norristown. We had the first real snowfall of the year on their wedding day!! The pictures out in the snow are stunning and it gave their wedding day such a magical feel! Once again, Meghan Cahill was on hand to do everyone's hair. Kelly from Face the Occasion finished off everyone's look with beautiful makeup. Everyone then headed over to Westover Country Club for the reception. Christy from Martin's video was there to capture their day, we love her! We did their paper products which were red, white, black and incorporated black swirls! We used this in the invitations, placecards and table numbers. Whimsical Welcomes really captured a winter feel with the florals they provided! Check out the fantastic pictures below done by Jennifer Childress!! She is such an incredible photographer!! Thanks so much for the pics, Jenn!

Congratulations Jessica and David!
