Bon Voyage!

And I am off! Before I spend 6 hours on a plane to Atlanta and then another 3 hours to NYC, here's a spotlight on an adorable Vineyard Vines skirt!

Whale 5 Pocket Skirt

Okay, who else thinks this is adorable? I usually don't wear skirts/dresses in the fall/winter, but I think I'm going to start wearing more! Especially when they can be as cute as the Vineyard Vines skirt as shown above!

Have a great Sunday!

Redecorating Part 2: Fabrics and Colors

When decorating a room, the base of it all, meaning the furniture, is obviously extremely important. But, what is equally important is the fabric and colors that accent the given furniture. It sets the tone and allows you to be creative. Now that I have furniture out of the way, I have to find the perfect bedding, rugs, and accessories for my bedroom. It will be adorable in pink, green, and white. I haven't decided on what shade of pink (there are so many great shades!), but I do know the type of things that I want in my room.

If I could marry a rug, I would marry this one. It's from the Lilly for Garnet Hill collection, and it's absolutely adorable. It goes perfectly with my vision, and it's Lilly. How much better can it get?

What's good about finding things that I like all from the same collection is that the colors are going to match. This is basically the rug in pillow form, and I'll have no woes about color choice because it fits right in...

...As does this "Tickled Pink" throw. It looks so soft and girly!

I'm about to show y'all some of my favorite bedding. Hopefully, I can recreate one of these beds!

I found the ultimate bedding (It's shown in the picture above to the right). I am ecstatic right now. I need to get my mother and convince her about the bedding. It's called Paradise Patch and IT'S SO DANG CUTE AND GIRLY AND LILLY! Don't worry, I'm just freaking out a little.

I like the idea of monogrammed shams. I'm a sucker for anything monogrammed, as y'all know. But, I haven't made any decisions on anything else concerning bedding.

These are some pillows from PB Teen, and they're really cute. I would probably get it in green since basically the entire room I want will be pink!

Do y'all know of any good interior design websites or cute pink and green bedding? What do y'all think about this "dream room"? Let me know!

I hope y'all have a fantastic weekend! I only have 2 more days until I'm on an airplane to CT so I'll be making the most out of it!

Time to Get a Cute Watch!

"Do you know what time it is?"
"A watch doesn't really go with this outfit, daddy."
-Clueless

One of my daily essentials is to wear a watch, specifically an A. Tierney Grosgrain Ribbon watch! They're adorable, they're preppy, and there are so many to choose from.

My mother has been wearing watches like these for years, and it wasn't until I was in 7th grade, I think, that I too started to wear them! They sold the watch and the ribbon bands at a store called Splash of Pink a couple of years ago, so my mother stocked up and we're good to go for all watch-wearing occasions!

Here are some of my favorites:

These three colors are so pretty together, I think. It's more fall, in my opinion, because of the brown and the pink is not so in-your-face.

Sorry for the pictures of the next couple of watch bands - they were taken from my phone because I can't find pictures on the internet! Anyway, the band above is just a plain light blue band and it's really cute! I actually wore this one today!

Pink and green (with some purple and white thrown in)! Gotta love it!

Even though this one is just pink, it might be my favorite. It goes with usually everything I have on.

Even though I don't pair them together that often, I like pink and blue together.

I looooove this band. It's white, navy, light blue, and green, and for some reason it just epitomizes Connecticut for me. Call me weird!

Pink, pink, pink, pink, pink!

I think I wore this one for 5 days straight while in France...

This just seems so preppy to me. It's navy, white and pink and can be paired with so many things!

So cute!

I don't actually have this one, but it's so dang cute that I had to include it! It's really prissy and it reminds me of a little girl.

I also found some cute watchbands on Girly Twirly (love this website!). They have adorable madras ones, as well as more pink and green options!

Does anyone have any watches like these? Where do y'all find good watchbands? Let me know!

Obsession: Eye Masks

The slightly high-maitenence sleeper that I am, I have to sleep with an eye mask! It looks like a joke when I'm at sleepovers, but for some reason I can't sleep if there's light in the room! To make this problem seem somewhat normal, I've found some adorable eye masks to show y'all!

These are just basic eye masks like the ones that I have. They're not very exciting...

...But then I found this! It's paisley! And pink and green! It's a complete dream, but unfortunately it's not available anymore.

This is my favorite. This is one of my absolute favorite things in the entire world. It's a replica of the eye mask in one of my most loved movies, "Breakfast at Tiffany's". It's girly, it's adorable, it makes me happy when I look at it. I have to order it. I need to sleep with this on. It's so dang cute!

Have a good night, everyone!!

Summer Colors

Your nails can be one of the best accessories, especially in the summer! Last night I painted my nails OPI's Cajun Shrimp, which is a bright coral that my mom bought because Janie Schoenborn, the design director of Lilly Pulitzer, said she liked it

This color screams summer, and I love it! I usually go for a pale color, such as Essie's Mademoiselle (a classic) but nails should be fun! And I normally reserve the muted, light pink colors for winter.
Essie Mademoiselle
I have this color somewhere (I think it's in my fridge...for some reason the heat is making our nails look weird and the only thing that prevents the polish from clumping once dried is to refrigerate them!), and I'll probably paint my nails this color next week. It's Essie Pink Parka and it reminds me of something that Barbie would wear. But, Barbie is the ultimate pink and green girl besides Ms. Lilly Pulitzer, so I love it!

Have a good night, y'all!!
