Must Have Monday

A lot of couples are choosing to have photo booths at their receptions lately and why not opt for some fun and unique props! I found all of these props on Etsy! They had so many choices and if you're a crafty person, you'd be able to make these on your own. You could even use them for your formal pictures with your bridal party to make for some fun photos!
You can find these bow ties here
Mustaches are always funny! Find these here
I love the glasses and the lips in this pack! Find it here

Must Have Monday

Today's Must Have is all about bridesmaid dresses that can be worn again. Every girl knows that when you're asked to be in a friend's wedding, you will most likely to agree to any dress that your friend wants you to wear. But these dresses really stand out to me and different for your bridesmaids and I can see every one of these being worn again!

This first dress is perfect for a backyard wedding or even a beach wedding!
Find this dress here.
Next up is a style that is on the casual side. I think it'd be perfect for a small affair and could definitely be worn to the office afterwards!
Find this dress here
This style is more on the traditional "bridesmaid" side of things but I think it could be worn again. Maybe to another wedding were you are a guest!
Find this dress here
I LOVE everything about this dress. The ruching is so flattering and of course I love the fun fabric around the hemline. This is not a dress that could be worn daily (or could it? I would clean in this dress!) but for a fancy girl's night out or a big New Year's Eve party, it'd be perfect!
Find this dress here
I'm in a wedding in September and this dress was a contender and was my favorite! I love that it is a short dress but is very formal looking and the color of pink is so pretty.
Find this dress here
I've never seen a bridesmaid dress like this one before! A wonderful reason to pick it!! Its also casual and you can dress it up with jewelry like the picture. I think a necklace like this one, would look fantastic!

Happy Monday everyone!

Must Have Monday

Since Mother's Day was yesterday and Father's Day is about a month away, I thought today's Must Have Monday should be based on gifts you can give your parents (and soon to be in law's) on wedding day! For my own wedding, I had a hard time choosing what to give my parents, especially my mom. I wanted it to be perfect for her and show her how much her support leading up to wedding day- and beyond!- meant to me! I ended up buying her a silver circular necklace with diamonds. She cried, I cried...it was perfect.

Here are a few things I've found that would make great gifts for mom and dad!
I love the simplicity of this silver heart necklace. Your birthstone and your mom's birthstone will show your bond to everyone and she's sure to brag about it to her friends. Find this necklace here.
Hankies are one of the more popular gifts for mother's of the bride and groom. These can truly become a treasure to your mother or your soon to be mother in law. You can find these anywhere but I found these here.
A beautiful wooden jewelry box, engraved with a poem would be a great spot for her to place all of her jewelry. Find this box here.
This decanter would be a great gift for either mom or dad. Personalizing it really finishes it off and shows that you put thought into their gift. Find this decanter here.
This handsome personalized watch box would serve as a great gift for your dad or father in law. Find this watch box here.
Is dad a big golfer? This stunning golf set with 6 personalized golf balls and the cherry wood box are a great gift! Find this golf set here.

Just remember when you are choosing gifts to give your parents on your wedding day to make them meaningful. Your wedding day is the perfect opportunity to express all of those lovey dovey feelings you have for everyone close to you!

Must Have Monday

Ring bearers play an important (and cute!) role in your wedding. I found some really great ideas for pillows on, you guessed it, etsy! Read on and you'll find some of my favorites.

When I saw this one, I automatically thought- traditional, with a touch of glam. Feathers are all the rage right now and that crystal brooch finishes off the look. Find this pillow here.
Next up is a more modern pillow. A huge blush pink silk flower on a brown sash makes a beautiful statement. You can't see in this picture, but a crystal brooch is in the center of the silk flower. Find this pillow here.
I love this rustic moss covered pillow and to top it off, two ranunculus flowers. They're my all time favorite flower and so beautiful! Find this shabby chic pillow here.
I think out of all of these pillows, this one is my favorite. Its different than any other I've ever seen and I love all of the texture to it, not to mention the fabric flowers which I always love. Find this pillow here.

Must Have Monday

Must Have Monday is here again and this week it is the shoe edition! I was inspired by my bride on Saturday who had the most fabulous Jimmy Choo's. I spent a good amount of time searching and found some of my top picks. Why don't I show you the dream shoes first?
I KNOW, right?? Well, we all don't have the budget for these but that's why they're the dream shoe! But they are pretty and if you can get them, please do! Then send them to me so I can prance around in my house. So pretty! Find these here.
I also love these shoes I found on BHLDN. Simple but oh so pretty and you could definitely wear them again. Find these beauties here.
These are the shoes our bride Kate wore on Saturday. They were even more sparkly in person! Find these stunners here.
I love the fabric flower on the back of these. I think these shoes could be wore again as well. Find them here.
I gravitate to anything with fabric flowers, so these were an obvious choice. They're really simple but make such a statement. Find them here.
And last but not least, another Badgley Mischka shoe. The brooch on this shoe is simply amazing! Find these here.

I hope you enjoyed my shoe picks for this week's Must Have Monday! Have you chosen your shoes yet? Show us! We love all things shoes!!

Must Have Monday

Spring is here and I'm getting antsy waiting for the flowers to bloom. So today's edition of Must Have Monday is all about flower hair accessories! If you're a more modern bride, you could opt out of wearing a veil and just go with a hair piece or wear it under your veil. They'd all be fantastic as a reception hair piece as well.

The first two are from drool-worthy BHLDN, Anthropolie's bridal line. I've been eyeing these up for a few weeks now and I think they are beautiful. The second one would also look great for your bridesmaids. Find the first one here and the second here.
The next three are from my all time favorite for all things handmade, Etsy. First is this stunning flower and birdcage combo. I love birdcage veils- they're so classic! Find the birdcage here and the flower here. Check out the rest of the flowers in this etsy shop...gorgeous!
The next is definitely on the modern side and I love the way this fabric flower looks! I also like that it is made out of handmade and vintage components. Find this hair piece here.
Lastly, for the ethereal and unique bride, a lovely handmade flower garland. It makes a huge statement without going overboard. Simple but gorgeous! Find this garland here.

Must Have Monday

This week's edition of Must Have Monday is all about cuff links! They are a perfect detail that you can personalize for your groom! There are so many options out there, but here a few of my favorites that I've come across.

These cuff links are smooth on the outside and can be customized with a secret message on the inside. Perfect for a groom who wants something personal and subtle. You can find these here.

These are so classic looking and I think would be great for a literary themed wedding! Find these here.
Burberry is always a classic choice but I really like them in this beautiful plum color. You can find these here.
Not very traditional but I think they're so fun! Find these here.

Happy Monday!

Must Have Monday

Good morning everyone! After a break, we're bringing back our weekly blog topics and adding a few new and exciting ones! I was doing my weekly Etsy browse and came across these four items that I wanted to share.

First up are these adorable champagne glasses. One of our weddings last year, Nell and Scott to be exact, had very similar toasting flutes. These would make for a perfect picture. You can find them here.
I am obsessed with these wine -or champagne- glass tags! You can find these here. Check out all of the other items in this sellers shop. She has variations of the glass tags and wooden hearts you could use as chair signs! Here's a great twist on champagne glasses! They are hand painted with branches and can be customized with your colors! I think these would be perfect for a winter wedding or a fall wedding where the seller can add leaves. You can find these here.
Lastly, are these beautiful wine tag escort cards. Perfect for a wine theme wedding! You could attach them to a wine glass or even a wine bottle that could serve as guests favors. Find these here.
Happy Monday!

Must Have Monday

Who doesn't love cookies? I know I do :) This week's Must Have are these adorable cookies from The Flour Pot. We think that the cookies below would serve as great favors for your wedding! Lots of couples are now using their monogram on all of their stationery. Why not take it one step further and use it for your favors? The circle invitation cookies are $3.75 and measure approximately 3.5" in size. The rectangles are $4.00 and are 4.5" in size!
These postcard cookies would be PERFECT for out of town bags or you could use them as a favor for a city themed wedding. The postcard cookies are $4.00 each. Guests always enjoy edible favors! Especially The Flour Pot's Cookies, which aren't just pretty to look at, they taste absolutely delicious!! Click on either picture to be taken to their website!

Must Have Monday

I'm in love with these customized luminaries that one of our brides used this past weekend. I searched through Etsy.com and came across the seller who made them for her-these pictures are from the seller's profile on etsy. They're so adorable and could be used in so many ways. We used them on one of the fireplace mantles which looked great! She bought hers in black and against the white mantle, it really popped! I think you could also put them on your sweetheart or head table or even use them on your place card table. Click here to get in touch with this etsy seller! Happy Monday!

Must Have Monday

We have seen some really cute cake toppers in the past, so for today's Must Have Monday, I went over to Etsy and did some browsing! I think that a lot of the time, a topper for your wedding cake can be a last minute decision or it can just be an after thought. You have so many things on your to do list that a cake topper doesn't even register. Cake is extremely important, everyone looks at the cake, EVERYONE! There are tons of options that you can use to top your cake. Here are a few of my favorites and links so you can check them out.
This is a custom cake topper and the dress can be made to look just like your own! You can find this topper here.
I LOVE this one! This would look fabulous on an all white cake! You can find this topper here.
This is my favorite. The birds are so cute and come in a lot of colors and I love that the bride bird has a flower in her hair! You can find this one here.
This one is obviously not a topper but are you and your groom not the "cake smashing" type? You can feed each other with these forks! How cute are they?!? You can find them here.

Must Have Monday

Good morning, everyone! I hope you all had a fantastic weekend. Today, we are talking about something sent to us by a future bride, and we've actually had a few brides this summer use them. They are heel stoppers! One of those things that make us all go "I wish I would've thought of this!". Basically, they are flexible pieces of plastic that go on the tip of heel to prevent your heels from sinking in the grass. I've been to a few weddings (and worked a few) where it has poured days before the event, leaving the grass so muddy. Then your heels get mud, dirt, pieces of grass all over the heel, ruining it. Not anymore! I will be investing in these! When googling them, they sell them in all different colors and are very inexpensive. Here's one website I found.
Happy Monday!

Must Have Monday

I love JCrew. Its almost an unhealthy obsession. They make beautiful jewelry and I own a few pieces and they are my absolute favorites. So today, for Must Have Monday, I thought I'd show you two necklaces that would be amazing as accessories for your wedding dresss. Even for your bridal shower or rehearsal dinner.

The first is this all crystal necklace. Its simple but stunning. The crystals are all different sizes so its different than most crystal necklaces I've seen. It also comes in another color, called rust. You can buy the necklace right here.

This necklace is all pearls and could be used for the bride or even your bridesmaids! Pearls always look classic but this is a more modern twist. If you are more traditional, you could always just wear this for the reception! An inexpensive way to change up your look for your reception. This also comes in two colors. You can buy this piece right here.

Happy Monday, everyone!

Must Have Monday

Must have Monday will be one of our new blog topics that we do each week! We found this headband at a really cute boutique called shimmer & spice in Philadelphia. It's a Deepa Gurnani headband and we think it would look fabulous with a wedding dress! Especially if you have a simple wedding gown and don't want a lot of jewelry, a sparkly headband like this one would definitely dress it up without going overboard. Or if you don't want to wear a veil, wearing a headband instead may be something more modern and unique to do. If you are in Philadelphia, definitely check out this headband at shimmer & spice! They have a ton of different types of jewelry, too.

Happy Monday, everyone!
