Teaser Tuesday

We had another fabulous two wedding weekend! See where we were below!

I loved this wedding!! Ellenmarie and Anthony are such a fun couple and have a great energy that just makes you want to smile! Their day started off with a ceremony at Old St. Mary's Church in Philadelphia. The rain held off for the couple and their bridal party to do a session in Washington Square with Gary and crew of Clair Pruett and video by Christina and Amy of Society Hill Studios. Following the photos, the couple joined their guests for an amazing cocktail hour and reception by Cescaphe at the Atrium at the Curtis Center. Once again, the staff was amazing, the service was incredible and the venue looked spectacular! Alicia from Il Fiore Bianco created gorgeous floral designs and the highlight of the entire night was a surprise performance by the Mummers String Band!! Congratulations to Ellenmarie and Anthony on their perfect wedding day! -Erin
Winterthur Garden and Estate is the perfect setting for a fairytale wedding. Shani and Erik were married on Sunday in a beautiful Jewish ceremony by the reflecting pool. Guests mingled during cocktail hour and sipped spiked hot apple cider by the pool, then took in the gorgeous sites on their way to a reception in the Visitors Center Pavilion. Restaurants Associates, the exclusive caterer, provided an incredible menu of Pacific Rim influenced dishes that were exotic and delicious! Once again, Matt Bowyer, of Synergetic Sounds, had every guest up dancing all night, while the amazing Tom Feehly captured every moment beautifully in his photographs. It was a night to remember and one I'm so proud to have been apart of. -Erin

Angela and Matthew's Wedding

Angela and Matthew's wedding started off at Saint Augustine Church. As guests arrived to the church, they were greeted by the lovely sounds of bagpiper, Dennis Miller. Cescaphe Ballroom was the perfect venue for their stylish reception. We worked closely with Angela designing stationery to match the pink & damask reception the couple had planned. Eventions provided pinspot lighting on the centerpieces, uplighting around the room, a dance floor wash, a customized monogram logo, as well as a plasma slideshow that ran all night. They also handled the DJ duties and kept the floor packed from the first to the last song! Martin's Video did a great job, once again, and Leslie from Whimsical Welcomes did a fabulous job on the florals! Festive provided the photobooth, which the guests always enjoy. Meghan Cahill did really unique hair styles for each girl and they looked so beautiful! Dollface Studios was incredible to work with- their photography is so amazing! The photos look great!
Enjoy married life, Angela and Matt!

Lori and Kevin's Wedding

Lori and Kevin's wedding ceremony took place at Fairmont's Eastern State Penitentiary! Some of America's most infamous criminals were held at the Penitentiary while it was still open. In fact, in the picture of Lori's beautiful gown, it is hanging near the cell that Al Capone was held in! Wow!!

The Philadelphia Inquirer was so interested in the space that they even published an article about Lori and Kevin's wedding and KYW News Radio interviewed the bride to learn more about what they had in mind for a wedding taking place in a prison in the state of perpetual ruin.

Paper by Proud ran with the idea used the look of prison bars as the inspiration for the invitation and stationery design. Using a striped grosgrain ribbon belly band to close the pocket and a vellum overlay invitation atop one of their engagement photos, the result was modern, chic, and fun invitations!

The reception was at the Philadelphia College of Physicians, once home to the country's oldest professional medical organization, now a beautiful and historic museum. Allebach Photography captured the historic beauty of both locations. Carl Alan Floral Design created stunning bouquets and corsages by contrasting bold red flowers with fun, white feathers! The reception was filled with great food from Catering By Designs and fun music and dancing thanks to Schaffer Sounds! Lori and Kevin's special day was unique and unforgettable! Congrats!
