Fashion Friday: Grace Kelly Beach Inspired

Hello!! I hope everyone is having a great Fashion Friday! I didn't have work today so I got to relax. Unfortunately there was no cell service until 20 minutes ago. I don't know what had happened, but it gave me and my family a chance to take a break from our phones. Luckily, the internet still worked so was able to find pictures for this week's Fashion Friday.

Grace Kelly is my ultimate idol and to bring in the summer at the beach mood, here are some pictures of Grace Kelly at the beach!!

Have a great weekend!!

KJP

I haven't really looked at the Kiel James Patrick website before (I'm not into super-nautical things, no matter how "preppy" they are) but I have to say, their headbands are really cute!! My mom gave me the Pink Elephants headband (made exclusively for the fabulous Preppy Princess) and it's adorable, so I decided to hop on over to their regular website to see what else they had. I love how KJP has famous classy women as their headband names!!

Audrey Hepburn!! I mean come on!! I love Audrey, so of course I would love this headband!!

This is the Babe Paley. I like how it's pink and green, but not the traditional bright pink and green.

GRACE KELLY. OF COURSE I LOVE THIS ONE. Besides Grace Kelly being my idol of all time, it's a really pretty headband!!

This is the Jackie Kennedy. It has pretty horses as the design!!

Lastly, this is the Vickie Jerangle Carrick. They also have this with dark green as the background, and then again with the rope in red.

Which KJP headbands do y'all like? Let me know!

The Trials and Tribulations of Hair: Favorite Haircuts

Oh, hair. How I love to hate you. Here are some envy-worthy hairstyles that I love!

Does anyone remember the 2009 Vanity Fair with Jessica Simpson on the cover? I adore her (and her hair in this issue!). It was very retro and pretty and I am in love with it. It's tempting me...

As y'all know, The Holiday is one of my all-time favorite movies, and Cameron Diaz's hair is to DIE for. It's the perfect length, it's cute, and it's super blonde. I'm definitely partial to short hair, as that's what I've had for basically my entire life...

Of course, I have to add in my collection of Grace Kelly's impeccable hairstyles.

Even though I don't watch Mad Men (my parents do), I just adore Betty Draper (January Jones). I love her clothes, her (ex) husband (Jon Hamm!) and her hair. Her character is basically an imitation of Grace Kelly, but still!!

This is Camilla Belle. She's an actress, even though she's never been in anything, but her style is fantastic and her hair always looks great. She was part of the "long bob" movement, but now she's growing out her hair.  Either way, I want it!

Have a great weekend everybody!

The Best of Little Black Dresses

The Little Black Dress is about as iconic as fashion gets. Supposedly created by Coco Chanel, this dress has evolved through fashion history, and is now on every must-have list!

Lilly Pulitzer Shayna Dress Lace
This is a (slightly) affordable LBD from Lilly Pulitzer! It's very cute. I loved the original white version of the dress in the spring (even though it's still available now!) but black is perfect for fall.

The most fantastic LBD is the dress that Audrey Hepburn wears as Holly Golightly in Breakfast at Tiffany's. It was designed by Givenchy and is one of the most famous dresses of all time.

Here are some cute LBD's from Ralph Lauren fashion shows!!

Louis Vuitton
This season's line of Louis Vuitton is absolutely amazing. I love anything that has a retro look to it, and this collection defined retro feminine. A cute LBD is shown above!

And of course, I had to end with some Grace Kelly LBD photos!

The Rounded Wayfarer

The Rounded Wayfarer by Ray Ban is a nice alternative to the usual aviators or wayfarer. My style icon, Grace Kelly, famously sported a similar pair on multiple occasions.

I truly do have an embarrassingly large collection of Princess Grace photographs.

Anyway, here's the beauty itself. They run a little large, I think, so make sure to get them tightened to fit your head if you can! They're just adorable and very retro.

Do y'all like these glasses? What are your favorite kind of Ray Ban sunglasses? Let me know!!
