Teaser Tuesday

It was another busy weekend with three weddings. October is turning out to be a beautiful month to get married!

Rebecca and Jesse were married on Saturday at Appleford Mansion. It was our first time working at there and we absolutely LOVED it! The ceremony in front of the willow tree was incredible, the rose garden for cocktail hour was so cozy and the elegant garden themed tent reception was absolutely perfect! We were so fortunate to work with such great professionals on this one- Eric from Waterlily Weddings conducted a beautiful ceremony, Ed from Sage Catering provided the delicious food, Matt from Synergetic Sounds kept the dancefloor completely packed and Christy from Martin's Video caught it all on film. Many many thanks to Tony and Amy from Hoffer Photography for, not only, being awesome to work with, but for capturing some incredible photos! These are two of our favorites- how romantic is this luminary path?
Kay and Doug were married this gorgeous Saturday at the Mt. Lebanon Methodist Church in Wilmington with the reception at Harry's Savoy Ballroom. Both Kay and Doug are in the US Coast guard, so they incorporated little Coast Guard touches into their decor. Their cake was a stunning white fondant with elegant detail. The topper was a family heirloom and fitting to the couple, the cake was cut with a military sword! The first photo was sent to us by Katie Harker, Associate Photographer for Laura Novak Photography.
Melissa and Carl were married at Manufacturer's Golf and Country Club. Their gorgeous ceremony was held outside on the patio. The weather was perfect. The color scheme for their wedding was black, white and purple with damask touches. The candleabras that she rented from us to use as centerpieces, looked gorgeous with the florals provided by In Full Bloom. The room was truly romantic, with all the candlelight on the tables. Jason from Synergetic Sounds and Lighting provided uplighting throughout and it really finished off the room. It was a deep purple and gave the room a royal feel. Jason also was the DJ for the evening and got everyone on their feet and dancing. Here are two of the amazing photos Jennifer Childress Photography sent us. Gorgeous!

Amanda and Patrick's Wedding

Amanda and Patrick were married this July, on quite possibly the hottest day of the summer. The heat didn't have any effect on how great their wedding day was! Wedding day started with hair and makeup provided by the ladies of Stylemasters. They did a fabulous job. Everyone then headed over to the site for the couple's ceremony and reception, Tyler Arboretum. There were some great details to this wedding. When arriving to the ceremony, guests were greeted with iced tea, water and lemonade. A perfect treat for such a hot day and it is one of our favorite little details that you can add to your wedding. The beautiful flowers were created by Flowers by Priscilla. They were vibrant colored flowers and went so well with the color scheme and stationery touches. Mike from Silver Sound provided the music for the night and had everyone dancing. Andrea from Blueberry Button Photography provided us with these fantastic pictures below. She did a great job at capturing the couple's big day and getting all of the details!

Congratulations Amanda and Patrick!
