Easter Dresses

Hi y'all! Since Easter is coming up this Sunday, I've decided to do a post on the perfect outfit for Easter Sunday!!

The Dress

The most important part of the outfit is the dress. My go-to Easter dress is, of course, Lilly. It really is the ideal brand for any occasion from April to September!! The dresses in the picture above are my top choices for a Lilly Easter dress. Look for Easter egg colors!! It may be cliché but pastel colors, like light pink, green, blue, and yellow, are so pretty for this holiday.

It's still chilly here in Connecticut, so it's good to bring a sweater to whatever church service or luncheon y'all will be attending!! I like the Paley Cardigan from Lilly Pulitzer. I wear them at least 3 times a week and they pair perfectly with Lilly dresses.

Thank goodness we're heading into springtime so I can wear Jack Rogers!! There are so many colors that y'all can wear to match with your Easter dress. My favorite Jack Rogers colors are light pink, hot pink, metallic gold and metallic silver!!

Dressing for Winter Formal

Hi y'all!! Sorry I've been MIA for the past week, I honestly couldn't think of any post ideas!! But I'm back!! To catch y'all up, I turned 18 last Tuesday and it was so much fun. I had a great time and I'm happy to be one year older!! I also had a huge charity concert on Saturday night where I sang my first solo!! It was sooo fun and terrifying but I loved it!! 

This weekend, I have my last winter formal dance!! It's kind of sad, since I've been to every dance my school offered since 6th grade...but I can't wait to dance and have fun with my friends. 

I'm wearing the Lilly Pulitzer Evelyn Dress. I've never worn it before, but I love strapless dresses and black is always flattering!!

My brother gave me this necklace for my birthday and I'm going to wear it with the dress. 

I'm not exactly sure which shoes I'm going to be wearing, but most likely sparkly silver or black heels!!

What do y'all think? I'm going to take a ton of pictures of the night's festivities so I'll post them after the dance!!

Boston Trip!

Next weekend, I will be with my class on a bus to Boston and Newport, RI. Every junior class takes this trip at my school, and I cannot wait! One of my favorite things about it, besides hanging out with my friends in Boston, is the fact that we don't have to follow our regular school dress code! I have my outfits planned out already. Here they are:

#1. Saturday (Day)

Dress: I'm wearing the (Lilly Pulitzer, of course) Sullivan Dress in Lilly's Pink We Were Robbed. I adore this dress. I wore it a couple of days ago and I fell in love! Plus, it's pink!

Dress: Worth Shift in...I don't know the print name! We ordered "Shorely Blue Silver Dollars" but the print is definitely not that. Can someone identify it for me?
