Rue La La Goodies!!

About a month ago there was a Lilly Pulitzer sale on Rue La La. I'm finally posting about the items that I purchased from the event!

I think this is a Worth shift, and it's from Fall 2010. I have the print in a cosmetic case and it's really cute. It has text message sayings all over it which is so fun! I'll definitely wear this next  fall!!

I looove these shorts. I have always liked the print!!

Whenever a new Jarvey skort comes out, I have to have it. They are so short (which I love), they are versatile, and very cute. I have a dress in this print and I do not remember seeing this specific skort in this print!! I'm glad I have it now, though!

I don't know anything about this skirt but it's cute!!

Last but not least, this is my favorite purchase from the Rue La La sale. The dress is in one of my favorite prints of all time and I love this fit of the dress! So happy I got it!!

Today at 11 a.m. (ET) there's another Rue La La sale for Lilly (even though it's Home). Here's an invite link if y'all don't have one already!! Good luck with the purchases!!

Have a great day!! I've been outside tanning for the past couple of days and I am so tired!! I hate that being so lazy makes me feel so worn out! But I have gotten darker and blonder and I've been wearing my Lilly swimwear!!

The Stable Skirt

I admit, I usually never go into Anthropologie. It's not really my kind of style, but then I saw the Stable Skirt. I was buying a birthday present for my best friend and I found this beauty.

I am in love with it. It's a perfect length for a pencil skirt, there are so many colors you could wear with it (White, Dark Green, Navy, Red...etc....) and it's just so dang cute! It is perfect for my "Fall/Winter Style" !

Have a great weekend, y'all!

Bon Voyage!

And I am off! Before I spend 6 hours on a plane to Atlanta and then another 3 hours to NYC, here's a spotlight on an adorable Vineyard Vines skirt!

Whale 5 Pocket Skirt

Okay, who else thinks this is adorable? I usually don't wear skirts/dresses in the fall/winter, but I think I'm going to start wearing more! Especially when they can be as cute as the Vineyard Vines skirt as shown above!

Have a great Sunday!

I have a dilemma.

Call me an OCD freak if you want, or a typical girly high school student, but school starts in 3 weeks and I don't know what I'm wearing. In past years, I have known my back-to-school outfit about 6 weeks beforehand. This is not the case this year. I have hit a dead end. My mind is blank. There is nothing I can think of that is perfectly preppy and girly and just starts the year off great!

At the pool the other day, while I was giving my eyes a rest from all the reading that I have been doing, I thought of a slightly plain but equally cute outfit that might just be the one.

Sorry for the ridiculously creepy pictures of the uniform kilts, but do not think that I wear them when they look like this. Yes, the only strict part of my school uniform is wearing either one of these (or any colored solid pants, but who wants to wear them when it's really hot in September?), but the skirts I wear are lower and shorter. Much better. So, I have to decide between the plaid or the grey, but my "vision" leans more towards the plaid.

Part 2: The top. I can wear polos, oxfords, sweaters...basically anything but a T-shirt (but no one says that the girls don't try...). I'm thinking of a Lilly Pulitzer polo, in either yellow, pink, or turquoise. I can't choose a color. I'm hopeless.

Part 3: The headband. Basically, anything from The Vintage Lilly (which reminds me I need to order these beauties!).

Part 4: Jewelry. Obviously pearl earrings, pearl necklace, my charm bracelet, and my A. Tierney watch with whatever adorable ribbon watchband I can find!

I may be stressing over the shallow, material part of school, but this is fun for me! It's so much more fun than actual school. So please, comment on this post with y'alls ideas for my back-to-school outfit! Tell me what you think because I could really use the help! Thanks!

Building the Wardrobe

I'm so happy! Yesterday, the clothes my mom and I ordered from the Lilly Rue La La sale last week finally arrived. Unfortunately, not everything we wanted was available (we forgot to press a certain button in order to finalize the purchase)! But, what we received is SO worth it!

The clothes were from the Fall 2009 collection, and I love them!

I adore this dress. The colors brighten up usual boring fall outfits, so thank you Lilly Pulitzer again! Fall is fun! I also am a fan of belted dresses, it shows off the figure!

I also got the skirt that the model has on in the picture above. It's high waisted and it's about knee length. My first thought (before it arrived) was that I would get it hemmed, but I kinda like it when it's super pencil-y and long.

Besides the Rue La La sale, I got a box or two from Splash of Pink (one of our favorites! And one of their stores is 10 minutes away from my school!) and Lilly.

I LOVE THIS SKIRT. It's also from Fall 2009. It's SO cute and I love really tight high waisted skirts (tight around the waist has become a common theme...)!

This skort is so cute. 1. I'm a sucker for skorts in the first place, 2. I have this already (it's the Jarvey Skort) in a yellow and blue print so I know how it fits. It's pretty short, but it's soo adorable and comfortable.

I'm glad I got this because I just checked the website and there aren't any more swim items left!!

Love love love this dress. It was featured in my post about Lilly Fall 2010 and it's called the Stephanie Shift.

Last but not least is my first article of clothing from the Lilly active shop!! I bought the Lotus top (shown above) and it's ridiculously cute. I'm going to wear it tomorrow when I go to the gym, and I can't wait!

I hope everyone has a great summer day!!
