Great eBay Find!!
Posted by admin
on 7:07 PM
About a week ago, I saw an adorable pink and green Lilly Pulitzer shift dress for sale on eBay. It was floral and it had a white stripe down the front with bows and it was TOO CUTE! I'm very much in love with it, and I'm so happy that my mom surprised me with it!!
The seller was Under the Lilly Pad. Their presentation when I got the dress on Tuesday was so nice!! The dress was neatly wrapped with pink tissue paper with a handwritten note to my mother, and the dress in perfect condition!! I absolutely love it!! In 2 weeks, the day after Easter, I'm going to a visiting day at Vanderbilt and I'm 99% sure that I'm going to wear this new dress!!
Have a great day!!

New Favorite Lilly Print!
Posted by admin
on 2:54 PM
I love the new Lilly print, Limeade Floater. It's pink and green and extremely adorable! My mother and I went to Splash of Pink yesterday...to "de-stress"... and I ended up finding 2 cute items in the print!
I especially love the dress. It has such pretty lace on the side!
What prints do y'all like from the new Lilly? Let me know!

Homecoming Day 1
Posted by admin
on 3:45 AM
Today is the first day of "Spirit Week" at my school, even though it's a Wednesday. It's the first day of costumes for homecoming, and I am SO EXCITED! I know this is a very disappointing fact, but I decided against the Betty Draper outfit. I really wanted to do it and it was going to be so much fun, but I think that i thought of something (maybe) better?
The theme is 1960's, and of course, everyone is basically going as hippies. My best friends are being Sesame Street characters, Jackie O, and Audrey Hepburn, though! And, for my costume, I'm being...Lilly Pulitzer! Yes, I'm obsessed. Yes, the entire summer was basically dedicated to Miss Lilly. But this is 1960's Lilly! I have everything planned out! All I'm missing is a tan!
Here is my inspiration:
And here's what I'm wearing!

And here's what I'm wearing!
This is the dress that I'm wearing. It's one of the most vintage looking shifts that I have, and it's so cute! I'm going to wear gold Jack Rogers, huge gold hoop earrings, and I'm carrying a Kate Spade basket purse!
Here is the secret to my sixties hair success: a Bump-It. My brother gave one to me as a joke for my birthday last year, and it's going to come in handy today! I'm also going to be wearing a ribbon headband with huge Jackie O sunglasses! I'm so excited!
For me, the funniest thing about today is the fact that my brother will be walking the hallways of high school wearing a Gumby costume. The man at Party City assured us that "Gumby and Pokey" were in the 60's, but whatever! It's so funny and cute!
Have a GREAT day, y'all!

New Lilly!

I love when there are new items from my favorite stores, especially Lilly!! Whilst at school today, I checked my email to find a lovely note from Lilly Pulitzer, informing me of their new additions. It was too good to be true!

Lee Cardigan Printed in Black Bang Bang
Being the sweater queen that I am, I adore this cardigan! Its basically a cutoff version of the adorable dress in the same print!
Cute, cute, cute! I love the colors in this dress. It's so fun!

Stephanie Shift in Brewster Blue Novelty Big Bang

Shauna Tunic Dress
Such a cute LBD! My mom likes this dress and I think it's perfect for her! The gold on the bottom is too cool!

Adelson Dress Metallic Twill
This dress and the two below are my favorites. I live for shift dresses, hence my automatic love for the Adelson dress. Compared to the obsessively massive amount of summer shift dresses I have, there is definitely a lack of winter shift dresses! Maybe this could fill the gap!

Kaya Dress Dash Jacquard
This dress reminds me of a similar looking dress from last year (it's pink and white). I love retro looking dresses and this is perfect!

Taylor Dress Engineered
Oh my goodness this is a perfect dress. The shape is perfect, the colors are perfect...I adore it! I want places to wear these dresses! Give me social events!!
What do y'all like from the new additions? Let me know!

A Shopaholic's Tale
Posted by admin
on 9:08 PM
To say the least, my mom and I went a little bit crazy at the Lilly Endless Summer sale. But it was a sale! And a ridiculously good one, at that!
Here are the purchased goodies:
Here are the purchased goodies:
This is the Adelson Shift Jacquard in Classic White Coming up Daisy Jacquard. I think it's going to be my senior graduation dress (which isn't too far away!).
I have loved this dress since the moment I first saw it. It's the Ashley Dress Lace in True Blue Stuffed Shells.
This dress is the Bowen Dress in Turquoise Alberta Gator. I think I'm going to wear this during the school trip I have to Boston the first weekend of school! I love strapless dresses.
This sweater (the Crissy Sweater in Hotty Pink) is perfect for winter without looking too stuffy. Plus, it's pink. It's a no-brainer.
Elina Long Tunic Cotton Law Printed in Hotty Pink Ten Speed. I'm kind of building a collection of "Hotty Pink Ten Speed"...it's one of my favorite prints.
The Lilly skirts are some of my favorite kind of skirts. They're short but not skanky, and they fit really well. This is the Simple Skirt in Turqoise Alberta Gator.
These are too cute! The pants are the Tradewind Capri Vintage Printed in Starfruit Yellow.
I have a problem with shift dresses, I can't control myself. This is the Worth Shift in Lilly's Pad.
Again, the Worth Shift in Queen of Green.
And, again, the Worth Shift in Shorely Blue Silver Dollars (love this).
Worth Shift in Classic White Cream Fraiche.
Lastly, the Worth Shift in Hotty Pink Ten Speed.
On to the collection of bags...
The Original Tote in Hen House.
The Original Tote in Queen of Green.
Tote Bag in Not So Crabby.
The Original Tote in Seeing Things.
Small Original Tote in Lilly's Pad.
This concludes the Lilly Sale shopping binge! Too bad it's the end of summer. Fortunately, I have Boston (I'll post more about the wardrobe for that later) and pre-school events and lunches!
Viva Lilly!! Have a great weekend, y'all!!
